HOW TO REGISTER AND USE THE EBOCAB APP: STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE


✅ PART A: Registration

Step 1: Download the Ebocab App

  • Go to Google Play Store (for Android users) or Apple App Store (for iPhone users).
  • Search for “Ebocab”.
  • Tap on the Ebocab app icon and click “Install”.

Step 2: Launch the App

  • Once installed, tap the Ebocab icon on your phone screen to open the app.

Step 3: Select Your Role

  • Choose whether you’re registering as a Rider (Passenger) or Driver.
    • This guide focuses on Rider (Passenger) registration.

Step 4: Sign Up

  • Click “Sign Up” or “Create an Account”.
  • Fill in the following details:
    • Full Name
    • Mobile Number (you may receive an OTP to verify your number)
    • Email Address
    • Password
  • Tap “Next” or “Create Account”.

Step 5: Verify Your Phone Number

  • You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS.
  • Enter the OTP to confirm your mobile number.

Step 6: Set Pickup Location Access

  • Allow the app to access your device’s location.
  • This helps Ebocab detect your pickup point automatically.

🎉 You’re now registered and ready to ride!

✅ PART B: Booking a Ride on Ebocab

Step 1: Open the App

  • Tap on the Ebocab icon to launch the app.

Step 2: Set Your Pickup Location

  • Your current location is selected by default.
  • You can also tap the map or manually enter another pickup address.

Step 3: Choose Your Destination

  • Tap “Where to?” and type your destination.

Step 4: Select Ride Option

  • Ebocab may offer different ride types:
    • Ebocab Standard
    • Ebocab Plus
    • Ebocab Bike (if available)
  • Choose the ride that suits your need and budget.

Step 5: View Fare Estimate

  • The app will show you the estimated fare before you confirm the ride.

Step 6: Confirm Your Booking

  • Tap “Request Ride” or “Book Now”.
  • The app will connect you to a nearby driver.

Step 7: Track Your Driver

  • You’ll see the driver’s name, photo, vehicle details, and live location.
  • You can call or message the driver if needed.

Step 8: Take Your Ride

  • Once the driver arrives, confirm your identity and enjoy the ride to your destination.

Step 9: Make Payment

  • Pay via:
    • Cash
    • In-app wallet
    • Card (if linked)
  • Choose your preferred payment method before or after the ride.

Step 10: Rate Your Driver

  • After the trip, rate your driver (1–5 stars) and leave a comment if you wish.

✅ EXTRA TIPS

  • 📍 Use “Saved Locations” for frequent addresses (like Home or Work).
  • 💰 Apply promo codes to enjoy discounts.
  • ⚙️ Edit your profile under settings (email, number, payment methods).
